Chunyi Chen
Dr. Chunyi Chen was a visiting researcher who is financed by China Scholarship Council (CSC), in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. In 2009, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from Changchun University of Science and Technology in China. His research interests include free-space optical (FSO) communications, atmospheric beam propagation, modeling and simulation of light propagation in complex environments, etc. Some of his research results have been published in the international optics journals such as Optics Letters, Optics Express, Applied Optics and Applied Physics. Dr. Chen has served as a reviewer for manuscripts submitted to several OSA journals, e.g., Optics Letters, Optics Express, Applied Optics, Journal of Optical Communications and Networking.
